Laina T. Leavitt is a partner with Winner & Booze. Laina has been practicing in the area of insurance defense for over 10 years. She has appeared in thousands of arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences and has obtained remarkable results in over forty (40) trials.
Laina received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Laina attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. Laina attended a summer semester of law school in China, where she had a unique experience of learning about international criminal law, Chinese law, and international sports law. Laina transferred to William S. Boyd School of Law where she earned her Doctor of Law (J.D.) and received an American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence. Laina was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in 2011.
Laina obtained externship at the Clark County Public Defender’s office and an internship for Honorable Judge T. Wall (Retired), in the Eighth Judicial District Court. Laina has extensive experience and knowledge of the entire Nevada judicial system.
When Laina is not bringing incredible results for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her two little boys.
