McKay G. Miles
McKay G. Miles was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1991 and was raised in Henderson, Nevada. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2015 and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2018. In law school, he served as the Subcite Editor and Board Member for the WMU Cooley Law Review. He also served as a teaching assistant for the Scholarly Writing Course at Cooley Law School, and worked as a legal intern for Michigan Immigration Attorneys in southwest Detroit. A fluent Spanish speaker, he has volunteered time as a Spanish interpreter at the Mountainlands Medical Clinic in Provo, Utah and at the Family Law Assistance Project in Oakland County, Michigan.
Mr. Miles began his legal career in Florida. He was admitted to the Florida bar in 2019 and is licensed to practice in all courts of the State of Florida. Mr. Miles joined the Fort Myers, FL office of Vernis & Bowling in August 2019 where he worked in a variety of insurance and litigation-related matters. His practice included complex construction defect claims involving multi-million dollar residences and apartment communities.
In 2020, Mr. Miles determined to relocate to his home state of Nevada and pursue his legal career here. In October 2020, he became admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Nevada. Building upon the valuable experience that he gained in Florida, he now represents clients in a variety of litigation-related matters, including uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and bodily injury cases.
When not at his desk, Mr. Miles enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his wife Emily.
